It’s been a while…

Ok, so I’ve neglected my little A’s blog. Sorry about that! Things have been really busy for us. Besides the holidays we were preparing to sell our home (just sold it too!), planning for the new baby (still expected March 21, 2010) and busy with work (Mike with teaching and I’ve been busy with my wedding fairs,etc.). But I’ve uploaded a few pics that I’m collecting. Quite a few from my iphone but there will be more in February (pregnancy shoot with Abby) and March (new baby shoot…I’m very excited to meet this little one). For those of you who know we have our little baby’s sex written on a sheet of paper still sealed with 10 staples. I’m holding strong to not opening it since Mike has agreed that I can name him or her. I think that covers most of what’s been keeping us busy the past couple months. Abby’s going to be a big sister!

Hey everyone! So sorry I’ve been really bad at posting lately. Things have been very busy with work. But it’s been a long time coming! Abby has some news…she is expecting a baby sister or brother next March 21st! She has been very busy starting to learn how to talk, hanging out at home, going to the state fair, going to Grandma and Grandpa Carr’s cabin and adjusting to dad going back to work after having the summer with him. I’m also attaching some photos from Mike’s marathon he just ran on Sunday! We are so proud of him! Enjoy a few pics of Abby and her summer. More to come later! – Jodi

Abby is One Year Old!!!

Ok, so I’ve been very slow getting caught up on her blog. But here are a few of her birthday party pics. Of course I can never have a party without a theme so I should explain a little here. I found this adorable dress in Amy Butler’s “Little Stitches for Little Ones” – project book. I couldn’t help myself so that started her theme of the “kimono” party. After making her dress I of course had to make Martha Stewart project of kimono jackets for kids. Then it continued onto the party treats, parasols, etc. Anyway, I had fun doing it and Mike thought I was crazy. Which afterwards I kind of agreed with him. So enjoy a few of the pics from her party! She probably won’t remember it but I’ll have lots of photos to remind her of it.

Abby’s 10 month photos!

She’s getting big! And before we know it she’ll be 1 year. She is starting to stand now and loves to walk with her trainer toy. It was months before she had any sign of a tooth coming in. Now she has eight new teeth coming through! Here are a few of my favorites from her 10 month shoot!

She’s seven months old now! It’s been so fun seeing our little girl learn new things. She’s crawling all over the place. Starting to climb stairs and standing with our help too! Before you know it she will be walking around for us!

Abby is (more than) 6 months old!

Well, once again my duty of blog keeper (at least until A can type for herself) has taken a little slack time. Work has been keeping me really busy. And so has a little smiley 6 month old. So what’s new now…she holds her own bottle (you can see sometimes she shows off by using only one hand). She is crawling now. Although she doesn’t quite got the hang of it. She more drags her little stomach across to a toy she’s attempting to grab. She’s working on sitting up but again she’s not sure how to keep up. She’s got the cutest laugh. We are having so much fun being with her!

Reagan and Abby are getting along pretty well. She’s loves to pet her and sometimes pulls out her hair too. R doesn’t seem to mind.

Abby didn’t enjoy the outdoor part of our shoot. Maybe next year she will be better!

4 months and over 14lbs!

I’ve been a bad mom Sorry about the lack of photos of our darling daughter. I’ve been very busy with weddings and shoots. Which is great but also means I’m slowing at posts. A has grown so much and is doing lots of fun stuff. She can roll over one way (and does so all the time). However, she can’t go back yet. So, dad & mom are constantly rolling her back when she starts screaming. She loves her feet you can see. I think her toe is in her mouth more than her thumb these days.

Abby’s first 4th of July!

I have to say that she is an adorable strawberry Not many can pull off looking like fruit but A does a pretty good job! She celebrated her first 4th of July at her Grandma & Grandpa Carr’s cabin.  Mike & I enjoy reading our horoscopes and guessing who’s is who’s. Surprisingly it’s sometimes spot on. I’ve attached Abby’s from the 4th (she’s an aries like her Grandpa Kerttu). I think it was about as accurate as it could get.
